Shoe De-oderiser Craft

Since the 17th century Linlithgow was a powerhouse of shoemaking. By the 1700s over 24,000 pairs of shoes were produced a year! That’s a lot of shoes for an awful lot of feet!

To keep your shoes fresh and stink-free, all you need to do is create an easy, mess free shoe de-odouriser, using ingredients already in your kitchen!

You will need

  • Bicarbonate Soda

  • Scissors

  • Essential Oil of your choice

  • Stapler

  • Tea Bags.

This craft is easy, but potentially a bit messy, so we recommend you do it over a tray or other easy to clean area.

What to do

Step 1:Cut across the top of a teabag and carefully remove the tea leaves. Just bin the tea leaves but keep the now empty teabag.
