Planning a visit with a school, community group, society or organised tour? We’d be delighted to welcome you to Linlithgow Museum. Group visits can be arranged in advance, and with sufficient notice we may also be able to welcome groups on days when the museum is normally closed.

Bring local history beyond the classroom with a visit to Linlithgow Museum. School visits can be arranged in advance and, where possible, we can work with you to make your visit relevant to the age, interests and learning needs of your group.

Visiting as a Group
We welcome visits from community groups, local history societies, clubs, care and social groups, organised tours and other groups interested in discovering Linlithgow’s stories.
Groups are welcome during our normal opening hours, but please contact us in advance so we can help you make the most of your visit. With sufficient notice, it may also be possible to arrange a group visit outside our usual opening days.
A Visit that works for You
As a small museum, we can often offer a more personal and flexible experience for organised groups. Let us know what interests you, how many people will be visiting and whether your group has any particular access requirements when you enquire, and we’ll do our best to help.
Good to Know
Entry to Linlithgow Museum is free. The museum is on the first floor of Linlithgow Partnership Centre, with lift access and accessible facilities available. We ask schools and larger groups to contact us in advance so that we can make suitable arrangements for your visit.
