Support the Museum

Be part of our story

Linlithgow Museum is free to visit, but it isn't free to run.

As an independent museum, the support we receive from our visitors, community and friends helps us care for Linlithgow's collections, create new exhibitions, develop activities for families and schools, work with our community and keep the Museum free and accessible for everyone.

However you choose to support us, you're helping to keep Linlithgow's stories alive for future generations.

Give Your Support

For those who would like to make a financial contribution, support can be given during a visit to the Museum by cash or card.

Shop and Support

Every purchase from the Museum shop helps support our work — and you can take a little piece of Linlithgow home with you at the same time.

Our shop includes gifts, books and locally inspired products, with an increasing focus on Linlithgow, Scottish makers and stories connected with the Museum.
