Talks

Big ideas. Fascinating stories. Curious minds.

We're developing a new programme of talks bringing together history, heritage, science and some of the fascinating stories behind Linlithgow Museum's exhibitions and collections.

From local experts and Museum volunteers to guest speakers and academics, our talks will offer opportunities to discover something new, ask questions and explore subjects in greater depth.

Some talks will take place at the Museum, while others may form part of our exhibitions, events and wider community programme.

Talks at the Museum

Our new talks programme is coming soon.
We're currently developing an exciting programme of talks exploring history, heritage, science and much more. Keep an eye on this page for forthcoming speakers and events.

History, Science & Everything In Between

Our talks programme isn't limited to one period or subject. Just like the Museum itself, we're interested in following stories wherever they lead.

Future talks may explore Linlithgow's people and places, objects and collections, archaeology, science, oceanography, astronomy and the ideas behind our changing exhibitions.

There is always something new to discover.

Talks for Groups

Looking for something a little different for your group or organisation?

We can also explore opportunities to provide talks and presentations for community groups, societies, schools and youth organisations, either at the Museum or at your own venue.

Topics and availability vary, so get in touch and tell us what you're looking for.

Be Part of the Conversation

Whether you'd like to attend one of our upcoming talks, invite us to speak to your group or have an idea for a future subject or speaker, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
